The 2025 Sanrio Chracter Ranking ( 2025年サンリオキャラクター大賞 ,2025 nen sanrio kyarakutā taishō) is the 40th Sanrio Character Ranking held by the Japanese company Sanrio. The theme of the ranking is "Jump! to the future with you!"[2]. It is currently the most recent ranking, with the next one being held in 2026.
Summary[]
The 2025 Sanrio Character Ranking was announced on March 12th, 2025 via the Japanese Sanrio website, the announcement confirmed there would be 90 participants and the theme of the ranking being Jump to the future with you!. The partner division was also announced to have 37 participants. From March 12th to April 2nd, each of the 90 participants would be revealed one by one.
On April 10th, the voting period would begin along with the partner division. An initial report of the top 10 results would be revealed on April 15th. A special limited announcement of the current top 20 rankings would be available for Sanrio+ members on April 25th.
The interim results with the top 20 rankings would be revealed on May 13th, the full rankings could be viewed by those with a Sanrio+ ID. The top 3 of the partner division would also be revealed for the partner division. Voting would close on May 25th.
The final results for the main ranking and partner division would be revealed on June 29th during SANRIO FES 2025.
