Agemi-kun is a character created in collaboration between Sanrio and KFC Japan. They are a breaded and fried salmon fillet originally from Hokkaido.[1] They wear a dollop of tartar sauce on their head and they think it's fashionable.[2]
KFC Japan served fried salmon during the collaboration from September to October 2015. It was served by the piece or as a sandwich with lettuce, basil sauce, and tartar sauce.[3]
