Bosanimal (ぼさにまる) is a group of Sanrio characters, debuting in 2021. They're a large group of various animals, but they live life a little differently compared to regular animals, as they can have philosophical thoughts and opinions and share them with human beings. They vow to stay true to themselves, even when they feel out of place. The animals come in many different colors and breeds and can be either longhaired or shorthaired depending on their mood and how they are taken care of.
The Bosanimals have a mini short series on Sanrio's official channel and BS FUJI that was released on April 3, 2023. An upcoming live-action series is in the works and will be premiering on FOD video-on-demand service on September 22, 2023.

A short-form animated series was released simultaneously on Sanrio's official channel and on Fuji Television's program Non-Stop! from April 3, 2023 to September 14, 2023* and lasted for 96 episodes. It follows the Bosanimals learning about their messy forms and how to control them, by being their true selves and going on many misadventures. It is the second Sanrio series aired on the Fuji broadcast properties, the other being Sanrio Characters Pon Pon Jump! for its BS channel BS Fuji. Bosanimal is also the first Sanrio series to broadcasted by Fuji TV.
*(On most stations, except for Sakuranbo Television in Yamagita Prefecture, in which Non-Stop! is not aired by the said station, and aired only on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday starting on the same day to follow with other FNN stations. Fukushima Television in Fukushima Prefecture, which airs only on Tuesday-Thursday beginning on April 4, 2023, does not broadcast on FNN affiliated stations such as Ishikawa TV, Tokai TV, Kansai TV, TSS, and TNC. Live-action[]
On August 17, 2023, in a announcement by the official website, the characters will have its live-action series and it will be premiering on Fuji TV's video on demand service FOD, with a tentative Fall 2023 premiere date. the Anime's voice for Sakura, Mone Kamishiraishi will return to voice the said character for the live-action series.[2] On September 14, 2023, in a description on a YouTube video, It was announced that the live action series will premiering on September 22, 2023, with episodes 1 and 2, followed by new episodes added weekly.
