Candy Cabinet is a Sanrio design collection introduced in the late 1970s, possibly 1979 at the earliest. Plastic bags, dishes, tins, apparel and other goods were produced with colorful, bright, and pastel designs themed to sweets and candies.
Hello Kitty, the Little Twin Stars, Otento Village, and My Melody made appearances on some Candy Cabinet goods. Additionally, the design collection introduced some original character designs:
