Cogimyun (こぎみゅん, Kogimyun) is white puffball a girl character from the Japanese company Sanrio who is made of fluff ball Sanrio calls her a Cogimuna (コギムーナ); wheat flour fairy. She is portrayed as a character who is sensitive and easily falls apart. Despite being made of wheat, Cogimyun wants to be an onigiri rice ball because that is her grandfather's favorite food.[1][2] She has a pet hamster known as Ebifurai (エビフライ) or Ebi-chan (エビちゃん).[1][3]
A series of Cogimyun anime shorts from 2017 is available; on YouTube. And an English fansub by Paradise Fansubs;[1].
In 2019 live streaming appearances with Cogimyun began on Line Live.[2] Also in 2019 the Sanrio Boys franchise added a new character called Yasuhiro Koga who is a fan of Cogimyun.[4] In 2021 a new character was introduced called Cogimyon (こぎみょん.) He is depicted as Cogimyun's little brother, who came to life when her tears fell on a ball of wheat clay.[5][3] Cogimyun has gone up in the Sanrio character rankings since first placing 28 in 2018, and as of 2022 she ranked number 9.[6][7][8]
Not only does Cogimyun’s YouTube channel have anime shorts, but she also covers various J-Pop songs. These include “Chocolate Disco” by the group Perfume and the theme song from the anime “Urusei Yatsura”, “Lum’s Love Song”.

Cogimyun's first appears of this series originally began streaming on CCTV's AbemaTV news in 2015 it follows 1th Cogimyun as she starts taking care of the Cogimucorpo apartment building after her Sonoko Inoue goes traveling.[9] The series features many different flour defeated food characters, like 2th Gyoza-kun (ぎょうざくん) the 3th Takoyaki Sisters (たこやきシスターズ) and 4th Udon-san (うどんさん).[3] The voice of Cogimyun is provided by the voice actor Hanayu (花柚).[10] The model Ryuchell made their voice acting debut as Chocokorone (チョココロネェ) one of the creators in the Cogimucorpo apartment building. The 9 series is created by Sonoko Inoue.[9]
