Daisuki! Hello Kitty (Japanese: 大好き!ハローキティ) (roughly meaning "I love Hello Kitty!") was a 1993-1994 Japanese TV Tokyo children's television program featuring Hello Kitty. It is known for its theme song I Wanna Wuki Wuki Time, alongside the song Minna ni Ichiban. It was similar to the live action Kitty's Paradise, where the characters would sing songs and do activities in between showcasing various Sanrio animated works, similar to the Disney show; House of Mouse. The series would also play the show Donragon. The show was to strengthen the Sanrio brand and advertise Sanrio Puroland along with their home video OVA releases at the time. 18 minutes of time was devoted to the character-based animated segments rather than the main live action program.
Asabou!! Hello Kitty[]
Asabou!! Hello Kitty (Japanese: あそぼう!! ハローキテ) (roughly meaning Let's play!! Hello Kitty) was very similar to Daisuki! Hello Kitty, this time including Badtz-Maru in the main cast. From April 6, 1994 to September 28, 1994, it aired every Wednesday from 7:35 to 8:05 on TV Tokyo. The most notable thing from it was the song Mischevious Angel, which was used as the theme song for the show Growing Up With Hello Kitty, and later reused for the show Hello Kitty and Badtz-Maru.
Hello Kitty and Badtz-Maru[]
Hello Kitty and Badtz-Maru (Japanese: ハローキティとバッドばつ丸) was also similar to the shows Daisuki! Hello Kitty and Asabou!! Hello Kitty. It aired on TV Tokyo from October 1994 to December 1998. In addition, some stations in the Kyushu region and Shikoku, where Harmonyland is located, broadcasted a sister program called "Kitty's Party". This was a public recording at Harmonyland, but it was recorded twice a year at the same time as the start of Kitty's Paradise. In addition to TV Tokyo, it was also broadcast on TV Aichi and Kids Station.
