Anthony "Grandpa" White is Hello Kitty's and Mimmy's grandfather. He is the husband of Margaret "Grandma" White and his son is George "Papa" White Hello Kitty's father His first appearance in Sanrio was in 1979.

Having had a lot of life experience and sharing it very well during story-telling time, Anthony is also very artistic and expresses it through his colorful, happy paintings.

His birthday is on October 25th, making him a Scorpio.

In The Adventures of Hello Kitty & Friends, Anthony is the teacher of the class that Kitty and her friends attend. Anthony gets a lot of praise from his students, but he is often annoyed by Badtz-Maru's antics.
