The Hello Kitty YouTube channel was an official channel owned by Sanrio, it used to primarily host partially animated "vlogging" style videos featuring a 3D Hello Kitty model traveling or talking about things she's interested in. Most of the videos from 2017 - early 2023 were deleted for Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary, most likely due to replacing Megumi Hashibara as Hello Kitty's Japanese voice actor with a current unknown voice actor.
The videos were replaced with promotional material showcasing the 50th anniversary designs and the "This is Hello Kitty" series of YouTube Shorts, which have both have the concept of showcasing Kitty over the years, along with other Hello Kitty related promotional material. The channel was made August 12, 2018. And the first upload was later that month on August 29. The only videos that were officially re-uploaded were the SDG Videos featuring replaced vocals and a slightly different arrangement for the song segments. These videos were most likely chosen due to fitting within Sanrio's corporate message.
