The Hello Kitty to Issho! Project (Japanese: ハローキティといっしょ!), also shortened as With-Kitty on the website URL, was a project and Sanrio universe that lasted from 2009 to early 2012, in which illustrators and creators produced works of Hello Kitty themed human characters (characters known as Super Kittylers) and merchandise. Hello Kitty to Issho! Project was a collaboration with Sanrio, Sanrio Wave and Asoma-navi.
Nekomura Iroha was produced as a VOCALOID, giving her more of a longevity through vocal-synthesizer music. At Games, a Japanese MMO Flash game portal that lasted from 2006 to 2020, also collaborated to create some of the Kittylers.
Kittyler Definition[]
The term Kittyler (キティラー Kitirā) is made up of the word Kitty and the ending -er, which could be short for "Lover", often used in Japan as a label for Hello Kitty enjoyers not dissimilar to how Taylor Swift fans are called "Swifties".
A Super Kittyler (超キティラー Chōu-Kitirā) is someone who is a Hello Kitty super fan. It is also the title for all of the members of the Hello Kitty to Issho! Project.

Nekomura Iroha[]

Nekomura Iroha (Japanese: 猫村いろは) was released on July 17, 2009, and is the first member of the Hello Kitty to Issho! Project. She is a girl with orange hair in a long ponytail similar to a cat's tail and decorated with various Hello Kitty based accessories. Her ponytail is actually a part of a detachable wig, which is why it varies in official art. She wants to be a Platinum Kitty (the highest rank of kittyler) and won that title by having lots of rare merchandise which was passed down from her mother. In addition to her Hello Kitty themed accessories, her costumes often use colorful accessories such as five-colored petals and rainbow patterns.
She was created by okama. Her official speaking voice was provided by Rei Matsusaki. When a VOCALOID2 singing voicebank was made for her and released in October 2010, her singing voice provider was initially unrevealed; then in June 2015, when she was updated for VOCALOID4 with two new voicebanks, the singing voice was revealed to have been provided by Kyounosuke Yoshitate.
Randou Rin[]
Randou Rin (Japanese: 蘭道鈴) was released on July 30, 2009. She searches for treasure and artifacts related to Hello Kitty. She has long hair with a slim figure and bangs that swoop to one side. Her prized treasure is a Crystal Hello Kitty Head.
She was created by Kuroboshi Kouhaku.
Minase Shizuku[]
Minase with Haroti
Minase Shizuku (Japanese: 水無瀬シズク) was released on August 6, 2009, and is a girl who works as a DJ on a southern island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Her age is unknown, but she has a young appearance. In addition to wearing clothes and swimsuits that have Hello Kitty on them, she also has a small motorcycle called "Haroti" which features Hello Kitty on it. Haroti can be used as a means of transportation and can also be transformed into a DJ booth.
She was created by POP and is voiced by Hiromi Igarashi.
Amakaze Misaki[]
Amakaze Misaki (Japanese: 天風みさき) was released on September 3, 2009. She is a girl dressed in a tomboyish manner. She works as a Miracle Cupid to solve love problems. Her character is designed with the concept of a hidden Kittyler, and the only Hello Kitty themed elements are her small Hello Kitty themed device in her waist bag and her very small and hidden Hello Kitty tattoo.
She is created by Teruhiko Imaizumi.
Kisaragi Mar[]
Kisaragi Mar (Japanese: マール・キサラギ) was released on October 22, 2009. She is a girl who has a pirate motif. She has voluminous large pigtails and a Hello Kitty eye patch. She sails to collect Hello Kitty treasure.
She is created by Sakushimeko.
Yamamura Karina[]
Yamamura Karina (Japanese: 山邑カリナ) was released on November 5, 2009. She is a farm girl with a loose agricultural style. She has 2 ribbons, and her clothing is decorated with subtle patterns. She has Hello Kitty themed decorations for her gardening rake and her bag.
She was created by Keito Koume.
Christopher White Heartland[]
Christopher W. Heartland (Japanese: クリストファー・W・ハートランド) was released on December 3, 2009. He is the only male character and is portrayed as a boy from a foreign country who is also a Kittyler. He plays the double bass and has Hello Kitty stickers on it.
He was created by Chinatsu Kuraka.
Mamiya Elizabeth Tsubasa[]
Mamiya Elizabeth Tsubasa (Japanese: 真宮・エリザベス・つばさ) was released on December 3, 2009, the same day as Christopher W. Heartland. She is a girl who is a student council president and invents Hello Kitty themed goods. She wears a uniform with Hello Kitty's face on it and always carries a Hello Kitty themed Piko-Piko Hammer.
She was created by Eji Komato.
Kiyoha Rio[]

Kiyoha Rio (Japanese: 聖葉リオ) was released on December 10, 2009. She is a blonde long-haired girl who likes rock. She was born in Tokyo on November 1st, and she is 16 years old and 160 cm tall. She has 2 types of costumes, a private costume wearing a red jacket and a Hello Kitty hat along with a stage costume. In the band, she plays the guitar and does the vocals.
Rio and her band members were created by KEI, who also designed Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len, Megurine Luka, and other VOCALOIDs.
Rio is said to be very quiet and usually seems a bit difficult to approach. For her, music is an important thing that allows her to express her feelings. She thinks that one of the best parts of being in the band is being able to convey her passion at live performances.
Initially, Rio was a solo character, but Yukishiro Mai was released on July 26, 2011, along with Hojo Mimi and Kurashima Tatsuki being released on December 27, 2011, who joined her as the 4 became a four-member Kittyler band, and a special page was created. Her name was initially "Rio", but after the formation of the band, her name was "Kiyoha Rio". Although the official translation of her name is "Kiyoha Rio", hers is often mistranslated as "Sebia Rio".
All four members of the band were sold as MikuMikuDance models. The MMD data was not sold online, and the means of obtaining it were limited to a bookstore called MelonBooks.Yukishiro Mai[]
Yukishiro Mai (Japanese: 雪代マイ) was additionally revealed as Rio's band partner on July 26, 2011. She was born in Hokkaido on February 12, is 16 years old, and is 163 cm tall. She has semi-long pink hair and is in charge of the bass guitar. Her guitar looks like Hello Kitty in a snow rabbit costume, which is a Gotochi (Gotochi meaning "local" in Japanese) Kitty found in Hokkaido. The hoodie she usually wears is also similar to her guitar. Her outfit doubles as the outfit she wears for the band and casual clothes.
Yukishiro Mai is very proactive about everything and can be a bit reckless at times. She is the most curious and is also the person who understands Rio the most, being able to say things that are difficult for Rio to say.Hojo Mimi[]
Hojo Mimi (Japanese: 北条ミミ) was released on December 27, 2011. She was born in the Kanagawa Prefecture on April 7th, and is 16 years old and 152 cm tall, the smallest of the members. Her hair is a whitish color and is long enough to reach below the waist. She plays the keyboard in the band and has a uniform color scheme of white and blue.
Hojo Mimi is actually the youngest of the members, so she is somewhat ignorant of the world and says things in a straightforward and honest manner, which subconsciously could end up hurting others.Kurashima Tatsuki[]
Kurashima Tatsuki (Japanese: 倉島タツキ) was also released on December 27, 2011, the same day as Hojo. She was born in the Fukuoka Prefecture on August 20th. She is 17 years old and tall at 170 cm. She plays drums in the band and her stage outfit is a red and black punk fashion with a hint of Hello Kitty, with black hair in a ponytail and Hello Kitty cat ears.
Kurashima Tatsuki is the oldest among them and is also the tallest. She also has a dependable, generous, older sister-like personality, but is also a bit of a tomboy.
Tachibana Mikan[]
Tachibana Mikan (Japanese: 橘みかん) was released on December 17, 2009. She is seen in a uniform adorned with Hello Kitty goods. She is 14 years old and attends a magic school. Mimmy, a white cat who resembles Hello Kitty, is her partner and they go to school together every day. Her name is a type of orange (a mandarin to be exact), explaining the orange color scheme.
She was created by Poyoyonrokku (Akio Watanabe).
Momo[]
Momo (Japanese: 桃) was released on December 24, 2009. She is a high school girl wearing a Hello Kitty duffel coat over a sailor suit and holding a Hello Kitty bag.
She was created by Miruku Morinaga.
Ichika Uraru[]
Ichika Uraru (Japanese: 一花 麗流) was released on April 8, 2010. She wears a Hello Kitty headband and an apron with Hello Kitty on it. She makes flower art at the florist "Kitty Land".
She was created by Aoi Nishimata and is voiced by Sakura Nakamura.
Kagura Noah[]
Kagura Noah (Japanese: 香具楽ノア) was released on September 7, 2010. She is a witch who wears glasses. She is designed with dark shades like dark purple and pink. The cloak she wears has a kitty cat-ear hood on the back.

Miyabi Sakuya[]
Miyabi Sakuya (Japanese: 雅 咲久耶) was released at the Comiket convention at the end of 2010. On November 26, 2010, her character page on the with-kitty website was launched. She is a Maiko apprentice girl and wears a kitty-patterned kimono and has Hello Kitty ornaments on her kanzashi (Japanese hairstyle) and obi (sash) .
She was created by CARNELIAN (who would later illustrate the VOCALOIDs Aoki Lapis and Merli, as well as alternative arts for ZOLA Project) and voiced by Ai Kakuma (who would later voice the VOCALOID Rana).
Miu Crawford[]
Miu Crawford (Japanese: ミウ・クロウフォード) was also released at the Comiket convention at the end of 2010. On December 4, 2010, her character page on the with-kitty website was launched.
She is a magical girl with a distinctive Hello Kitty headdress and tail. She wears a ruffled costume that features pink and white. An official MMD model was produced and released sometime in May 2013. Initially, it was only available for purchase using an Android phone, but since July 26 of that year, you were able to purchase it on PC.
She was created by Takuya Fujima and voiced by Yuki Kuwabara.
Nogisu Kanna[]
Nogisu Kanna (Japanese: 乃木栖かんな) was the last one to be released at the Comiket convention. On December 11, 2010, her Character page on the with-kitty website was launched.
She is a 12-year-old girl who aspires to be an architect like her father, and the tools she uses are decorated with Hello Kitty.
She was created by redjuice, known for drawing many illustrations for VOCALOID songs, notably working with supercell and livetune, including the cover art for the "World is Mine".
Grace J. Deanst[]
Grace J. Deanst (Japanese: グレイス・J・ディーンスト) was made as part of a collab with At Games and was announced on December 29, 2010. She is a second-year student in the engineering department of the private At Game Gakuen Junior High School and the chairman of the Independent Moral Committee, also known as the "Oni Otome Gumi". she often rides her electric scooter known as "Thunderbolt" around the school.
She was created by Kazushi Ito, an At Games BG art director.
K.T.[]
K.T. was made as part of a collab with At Games and was announced on February 8, 2011. She is a gothic lolita girl with a USB cable tail. Her concept is "a user imagining a blogger who loves Hello Kitty". She has dark circles under the eyes that are formed due to excessive netting, which makes it difficult to see her eyes.
She was created by 9u6o, an At Games Core Designer.
Nady = μ (Myu) = Tia[]
Nady = μ (Myu) = Tia (Japanese: ナディ=μ=ティア) was made as part of a collab with At Games and was announced on April 1, 2011. She is an alien space idol who discovered Hello Kitty during her trip on Earth, and became a Kittyler. She speaks a cosmic language that earthlings cannot understand, and all dialogue is written with symbols such as ○ and @.
She was created by m/g, an At Games "Self Fizz" Designer.
Kirishima Moe[]
Kirishima Moe (Japanese: 霧島 萌) was released on June 30, 2011. She is a Kittyler who is a high school tsundere and likes pranks.
She was created by Kogedonbo*.
Charlotte[]
Charlotte (Japanese: シャルロッテ) first appeared in the PS Vita entry of the Block Crash games, Block Crash V. She was announced on the official website on October 27, 2011. She is a Western princess who became a Kittyler when she saw a Hello Kitty plushie during her trip in Japan. Since Charlotte grew up being constantly spoiled, she is a bit selfish and lonely.
She was created by Bikini.
Kanon[]
Kanon (Japanese: かのん) first appeared in Block Crash V and was announced on the official website at the same time as Charlotte. She carries a Hello Kitty backpack and holds a Hello Kitty shaped tablet in her hand. Kanon herself is said to be easygoing, and outside of being a Kittyler and wanting more people to become Kittylers, she is also a gamer and is said to have made Block Crash V herself.
She was created by Circli Hitoshi.
Horai Sorute[]
Horai Sorute (Japanese: 蓬莱そるて) first appeared in a 2012 calendar. She released on the official website on January 20, 2012. She is a young lady with an appetite with a Hello Kitty shaped meat bun in her hand.

Neon Wee[]
Neon Wee (Japanese: ネオン・ウィー) was released on February 1, 2012. She is a Kittyler from Taiwan and is the MC of the Near Future Vocalo Club.
She was created by ZECO.
Sophia K. Blanket[]
Sophia K. Blanket (Japanese: ソフィア・K・ブランケット) was released on February 1, 2012, the same day as Neon Wee. She is a medieval knight, and the weapons, armor, tiaras, etc. are designed to resemble Hello Kitty.
She was created by CHuN and is the last member of the Hello Kitty to Issho! Project.
Video Games[]
There are three video games tied-in with the project: Hello Kitty to Issho!: Block Crash 123!! for PSP, PS Vita, and PS TV; Hello Kitty to Issho!: Block Crash V for the PS Vita; and Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash Z for the Nintendo 3DS. All were released on July 15, 2010, June 7, 2012, and October 11, 2012, respectively. The gameplay is like Breakout where you have to get rid of blocks on screen. Different blocks are introduced in each level as the game goes on and the levels go higher.

- Tachibana's cat Mimmy is a reference to Hello Kitty's sister Mimmy; the name Hojo Mimi can also be a reference to her.
- When an announcement that a Kittyler from the Hello Kitty to Issho! Project would become a VOCALOID was floating around the internet, people speculated that Rio was going to be picked, although this was proven wrong when Nekomura Iroha was chosen instead.
