Gender
Heysuke's gender is questioned on the official Sanrio website. The Heysuke Timeline on Sanrio.com reads:
"...he (she?) is always giggling in the nude...!? All we know is he lives somewhere close by..."
Since he is otherwise referred to with male pronouns, it is assumed Heysuke is male.
