I.CINNAMOROLL (アイシナモロール) is a new brand within the Cinnamoroll universe that explores an alternate timeline, where Cinnamon never met Anna, the owner of Cafe Cinnamon, and became the face of the cafe. The brand was announced at SANRIOFES 2023.
The "I" in I.CINNAMOROLL stands for both "I, myself" and "love" ("ai" means "love" in Japanese). With that, this alternate form of Cinnamon promotes self love and care in busy adults. He's more mature, disciplined, and independent than the original Cinnamon, and he doesn't care about what other people think of him. He once focused on the seemingly luxurious lives people lived out on social media, and thought that he had to do things a certain way. But then, he decided to just relax and live his own life. Today, he lives a leisurely life in the city with his good friend Milk.
Anime[]
I.CINNAMOROLL received his own mini-program on TBS on October 7, 2023, entitled "シナモンと安田顕のゆるドキ☆数分クッキング " (ENG: Cinnamon and Akira Yasuda's Yurudoki☆Minutes Cooking). This is a relaxed cooking show starring Cinnamon and actor Ken Yasuda. It airs every Saturday morning from 9:25-9:30. Around the same time, the I.CINNAMOROLL Youtube channel launched, which posts I.CINNAMOROLL shorts.
The shorts will be uploaded to the Hello Kitty and Friends YouTube channel in English starting November 22nd, 2024, with new episodes to be released every Friday afterwards.
Trivia[]
- Milk's name is usually written in hiragana (みるく) as opposed to katakana (ミルク). This is because Milk's owner's daughter is very young and can only write in hiragana. However, in the I.CINNAMOROLL timeline, his name is written in katakana, implying that his owners are older.
