The Jewel Games (ジュエルゲーム, jueru gēmu) are a traditonal game originating from Jewel Land, having a prominent role in the second half of the first season of Jewelpet. They were used by Dian and Diana as a way to obtain the Jewel Stick by winning Rinko Kougyoku and forcing her to join their side.

The Jewel Games are a form of battle in which the winner can pick a member of the losing team to have them join their side and has been around since ancient times in Jewel Land. The battle is decided from a selection of Jewel Cards, with the one chosen by the opposing team being the battle they will compete in.
The Jewel Games Judge
When a Jewel Game is decided, the judge will emerge from his egg-like object and explain the rules of the chosen game, before starting the game. When the game starts, the Judge activates Jewel Standby which casts magic around the area the game takes place in. Jewel Standby can change the local environment or make people unfazed by the events of the game to avoid disruption. Besides the game specific rules, there are also some general rules that apply to all Jewel Games, such as allowing the use of magic and tactics that don't break any of the games' rules, such as multiple lines on a single fishing rod to fish more presents despite the rule of only one fishing rod per competing team member.

Ancient Jewelpets competing in the Jewel Games
The Jewel Games have been celebrated in Jewel Land since ancient times, the games are said to have been practiced by neighbouring villages to win over young workers or marriage partners.
The Jewel Games would have a prominent role later after Dian was freed by Diana, with the plan to take the Jewel Stick from Rinko by winning her over in a Jewel Game, with the corrupted Jewel Eight competing in each of these games. The Jewel Eights pets would instead be won over by Rinko and Ruby and returned to their normal forms and joining their side.

Scavenger Hunt Race[]
A scavenger hunt race was the first game that Rinko Kougyoku and Ruby competed in, several borrow cards are located in specific areas around Takaragaseki City, with the team finding the item written on their card and bringing it to the finish line first wins. The winner of the game was Ruby and Rinko's team, receiving Nix and returning him to normal from Dian's dark magic.
