Kurode (クロード) is a male humanoid fairy character from the Japanese company Sanrio, part of the Fragaria Memories franchise. He is the Fragarian Knight serving under Lord Kuromi. His Code of Chivalry is Tenacity, to persist in the face of hardship and never give up[2].
Official Introduction[]
"A Fragaria who made a contract with "Kuromi". He couldn't bear the comparison to his renowned elder brother, hailed as "the greatest knight", and ran away from home, wandering until Kuromi found and took him in. He's blunt but earnestly hardworking. He has a strong competitive spirit and drive for improvement, yet he harbors a sense of inferiority knowing his abilities still don't measure up to his brother's."
Appearance[]
Kurode is a tall young man (176cm or 5'9") with a slim build and pale skin. His hair is a dark purple with several lighter purple/magenta streaks, and his eyes are a dark magenta color. He has numerous piercings on his ears, and he wears a black and purple headset around his neck with silver protrusions that resemble Kuromi's ears. His nails are short and painted black.
His outfit consists of a white dress shirt with a black harness worn under a dark purple cropped jacket. He wears a set of dark wool sleeves on both of his arms decorated with gray ribbons. He wears a pair of dark, ripped skinny jeans held up with several belts decorated with spikes and a chain. He also wears a pair of dark high-rise boots with pink laces.
Personality[]
Kurode has a rather blunt personality. He works very hard and maintains a serious and diligent demeanor. Although he possesses a competitive spirit and a drive to grow stronger, he has yet to match his brother in skill, causing him to have an inferiority complex. Despite his outward appearance and blunt personality, he is gentle in nature and very kind to others, and is always willing to help those in need.
Backstory[]
Kurode was born in the My Melody Kingdom, and is the younger brother of Merold, My Melody's Fragarian Knight. Merold has always been an extremely talented and skilled knight, being hailed across the Red Bouquet as "The Greatest Knight". Although Kurode worked hard to become a knight since he was a child, he still could not match Merold in skill. Tired of being compared to his older brother, Kurode ran away from home. He wandered for a while until Kuromi found him and took him in.

- Despite working hard to become a knight since he was a child, Kurode was not officially a knight until the end of BLUE BOUQUET episode 1, and he was not Kuromi's Fragarian Knight until the end of BLUE BOUQUET episode 6.
- Kurode, Tuxam and Pikero were classmates in Knight School.
