Kyorosuke (Soak) is a fictional character in Keroppi and Friends. He was voiced by Julie Lemieux.
Personality[]
Kyorosuke is wildly curious, always out looking for new things.
Appearance[]
Kyorosuke originally had a yellow shirt with two black circles and his skin was dark green. In later episodes, he wore a yellow shirt with light blue overalls and red buttons on them and he had a light green skin.
For winterwear, he wears a long-sleeved yellow shirt with a red button, red mittens, and a pair of black boots.[5]
For swimwear, he wears a blue and yellow striped swimsuit and pink shorts.
For rainwear, he wears a dark yellow raincoat and a pair of red boots.
Background[]
Kyorosuke is the tallest of Keroppi's friends. Because he has superior eyesight (he can see things over half a mile away), he is often the first to pick up new information. He is a bit of a prankster, enjoying surprising people by suddenly leaping out of the water (since he is an expert in underwater swimming). Keroppe is usually the one who ends up passing out because of this.
Storyline[]
Kyorosuke makes a cameo in the beginning of the episode "The Big Adventure" when Keroppa checks to see if he had a belly button. He even cameoed in the end of "Find the Pink Mushroom" when he, Koroppi and Noberun introduced themselves to Marcus so they can start a game of hide-and-seek.
Kyorosuke and Koroppi get in a difficult situation when the Gammas took over their playing field while they were playing volleyball together, so the Keroppies end up playing baseball against them in "Let's Play Baseball".
Kyorosuke watches the coward prince movie in "The Adventures of the Coward Prince", and in the end, he notices that Keroppi was still at the theater even though he got kicked out (he mentions that he had to sneak back to see the ending).
When he gets lost in time with Keroppi and his friends in "The Frog's Secret House", he meets Speedy and sleeps over with him. The next day, Ganta, Keroleen, Keroppi, Noberun, and Kyorosuke work together to build a treehouse for Kerada, Meroleen, Speedy, Isaac, and Nelson and they did a marvelous job.
In "Let's Be Friends", he meets a snake named Choro and got scared of him at first, but he started to become friends with him.
In "Our Treasure", Kyorosuke and his friends attend Mr. Johnson's tea party, and they meet Mrs. Edwards and Marie.
Relatives[]
- Kyorosuke mentions his father in "The Christmas Eve Gift - Santa and His Reindeer Kuppi", getting the idea to bring his generator over to plug Twinkle into a Christmas tree.
- He even mentions his mother in "Let's Be Friends" by telling Keroppi that she made cookies.
