Synopsis[]

Note: Scenes highlighted in red text are cut from the English dub.

During the cold opening, a purple snake named Choro smells the flowers and scares the butterflies and bees until he discovers Donut Pond.

Keroppi and his friends are playing soccer on the soccer field until they start to get exhausted, but Ganta still keeps playing until he loses the ball.

Ganta finds the ball and is about to kick it back until he realizes that there was a snake around even though it was just some old rope which gives him an idea.

Back at the soccer field, Ganta throws the rope making Keroleen, Keroppi, Kyorosuke, and Noberun panic, and that nearly gave Keroppi a heart attack, but they weren't nearly scared at all. Keroleen then stands up to Ganta by informing him that it could have been poisonous and explains to everyone why she doesn't like snakes. Ganta tries to get everyone to play some soccer until he meets a purple snake named Choro and that suddenly turned him into a rock. He tries being friends with Keroleen, Keroppi, Kyorosuke, and Noberun, but they run away screaming in horror and he gets squished by Ganta, making Keroppi hear a crash. He stays low and sees Ganta who fainted and wakes him up. He wakes up, still horrified to see a snake in person, and starts running away. Keroppi checks to see if the snake was all right, but he doesn't answer since he was very weak and had taken a heavy blow.

At his house, Keroppi borrows his dad's medical kit to fix Choro's injuries and he was still in good hands. Choro wakes up to find out that he was in Keroppi's house after he brought him here from the soccer field. He looks at the bandage on his tail and starts to become friends with Keroppi by praising him for fixing his bruises even though it was the least he could do ever since Ganta fell on him. Choro then shows Keroppi his baby fang that he got last week and he starts to scream and panic. He tucks his fang back in and informs him that he only uses it for self-defense so he won't bite his friend. Keroppi stops panicking and tucks Choro in by telling him that he should rest a little more now so he can wake him in time for milk and cookies in the afternoon. That night, Keroppi and Choro stayed up late to learn about each other. When they finally turned out the light, they were so exhausted that they went straight to sleep. The next day was beautiful and sunny and Keroppi plans to bring Kyorosuke over to his house so he could meet Choro, but he reminds him that he couldn't show his fangs right away.

On the way to Kyorosuke's house to tell Kyorosuke that he was friends with a snake, Keroppi suddenly stops and remembers what happened yesterday which made him want to turn around and go home, but he makes it there and was in time for the cookies that Kyorosuke's mother had made.

Inside, Keroppi asks Kyorosuke if that had a little snake staying in his house, he would tell anyone, and he answers yes even though he would probably be too scared to keep one in the first place. He even wonders what it would be like to touch a snake since he doesn't think that snakes are slippery and slimy and they're probably friendly. That was true, too since the snake in Keroppi's room is super friendly which made Kyorosuke spit out his drink and cry out, "You're keeping a snake in your bedroom?!"

Back at Keroppi's house, Choro was still waiting for Keroppi to return with his friend until he sees Den Den up in the tree which made him want to ask him if he wants to be friends with him. A few seconds after Choro leaves, Keroppi returns with Kyorosuke and he still wants him to make sure that the snake doesn't bite. They go inside Keroppi's room, only to find out that Choro wasn't in the basket and the window was wide open.

Meanwhile, Choro starts to follow Den Den by asking him if he wants to be friends with him and they become friends by going to the forest to visit Den Den's family.

As Keroppi and Kyorosuke move on in search of Choro, they see Noberun who was about to show them a picture of the poisonous snake that looked like the one they saw yesterday even though they happen to be looking for that snake right now. Noberun starts to get nervous and asks them if they wanted to run into the slithery creature again, but Keroppi tells him that he fixed him up after Ganta fell on him and stayed overnight in a little basket in his room which made him drop his book. While looking for Choro, Noberun states that whenever he sees a snake, he forgets everything he ever read about staying calm and moving slowly and just turns around and runs away as fast as his little legs can go.

At the Frog House, Keroleen wasn't taking any chance of running into Choro herself and decided to stay inside. She shows Teru Teru a picture of the poisonous snake which seemed pretty huge. Just then, Den Den returns from visiting his family in the forest with Choro along with him much to Keroleen's horror. Choro becomes friends with Teru Teru and shows her his fangs. He tries to show Keroleen his fang, but she screamed out loud and started to cry which hurts his feelings. Suddenly, Keroppi, Kyorosuke, and Noberun show up and ask her if she was all right. She was glad to see them and tells them about Choro, but Keroppi tells her that he just wanted to be friends. Keroleen doesn't believe him and started running home crying a lot by now which made him feel bad. Kyorosuke then gets an idea to climb into the trees and try to talk Choro into coming down by telling him that they want to learn more about snakes so none of their friends will be scared of him anymore. He climbs up a tree and meets Choro talking. Choro tries to fall, but Kyorosuke catches him and asks him if he would come down from this tree and meet his other friends. Back in the Frog House, Choro apologizes to everyone for his behavior and meets Noberun. Noberun checks to see if he was wet and slimy, but he wasn't poisonous at all, and Keroppi and his friends laugh out loud.

At Ganta's house, Keroppi, Kyorosuke, and Noberun introduce Ganta to Choro as they give proof that the tail that he squished yesterday wasn't slimy. Like Noberun, he finds out that it wasn't slimy at all and they head out to the soccer field.

Back at her house, Keroleen was starting to feel pretty bad about the way she had treated Choro and thought her friends must be thinking she was mean until Teru Teru and Den Den show up at her window inviting her to come to the soccer game.

On the way to the soccer field, Keroleen was still a little worried though, but Teru Teru comforts her when they make it to the field. They watch the soccer game go on and Keroleen was surprised to see Choro on the field which made her cross. Keroppi and his friends try to get her to play soccer with Choro, but she runs away and suddenly falls down a cliff. Keroleen tries to reach Keroppi's hand, but he couldn't reach her. Ganta then tries to reach Keroleen's hand, but he couldn't reach her either. Suddenly, Choro starts to order Keroppi to lower him down so he could her and that is a good idea. He does that, but Keroleen gets scared and refuses since it would be too yucky. The branch starts to fall with Keroleen, but Choro grabs her and saves her. Keroleen starts to thank everyone for saving her life, but she notices that Choro wasn't moving. Noberun checks on him and states that he was still breathing which must have gotten the wind knocked out of him. Keroleen starts tearing up and begs Choro to wake up since he saved her life. Her teardrops on Choro and he wakes up and still becomes friends with Keroleen. He then reminds her not to run into any more cliffs and Ganta tells him that he was part of the team anytime.

A few days later, it was time for Choro to leave. He had a wonderful time at Donut Pond, and everyone was going to miss him a lot. Keroleen informs him that he can visit them anytime which means a lot to him and that was special. Keroppi then tells Choro that he can come to his house whatever he wants and his basket will always be there for him, so ending the episode, everyone says goodbye to Choro as he leaves.

The post-credits show Keroppi and his friends talking about how strong Choro was. Ganta whispers to them that Keroleen was scared of him and she gets mad at them.
