Little Ringtail (リトルリングテイル) is a brand/universe by Sanrio about a raccoon character named Roko that debuted in 1986.
Roko is an anthropomorphic raccoon with light orange fur, sometimes pictured wearing a blue and white striped shirt. The tip of his tail, feet, paws, and raccoon markings are a darker orange.
According the the book "Sanrio Design '90s-2010s", the striped pattern on the tip of his tail is the origin of his name. He loves playing energetically with insects and flowers. According to a short story found on his merchandise, his stomach squeaks whenever he's hungry.

In the forest one night under bright moonlight, Roko's tummy started to squeak. "Feed me! Feed me!" it squeaked. Roko couldn't say no.. So he thought and thought. "What can I get my paws on at this time of night?" He looked up at the clouds above him.... And Poof! just like fresh buns out of the oven those clouds changed into the most delicious looking bread. "Dinner!" he shouted.
