Nezumi Daikichi (ねずみ大吉) is a Sanrio character/universe that debuted in 1995. Their name translates to "Lucky Mouse" in English. Stationary and plush toy coin banks are known to have been produced. The product line was likely created to celebrate the zodiac sign for 1996, which was the Rat.
They're an anthropomorphic mouse or rat with big round ears (the inner ears identifiably shaped), a small black nose, whiskers, and a curly thin tail. They are usually depicted holding a yellow coin and/or wearing a tenugui.
