Nina (ニィナ) is a Sanrio character from the Wish me mell Universe She is a soft green dragon girl. She likes dancing and dreams of being a ballerina. Nina collects seashells and loves sweet milk tea with lots of milk. She can be a bit selfish but is a good friend and isn't afraid of anything. She is a student in Merci Hills.
Origin[]
One day at the lake in Merci Hills, Poco found a big egg and gave it to Wish me mell to take care of in secret. One day the egg cracks and Nina appears. The fairy Ciel explains that she is a dragon from Northern Europe. Nina makes it her goal to find her mother and her friends want to help her.
Later Nina finds a circus flyer with the main attraction being a dragon who can breath an Aurora Flame, she feels that this is her mother and starts crying. On the day the circus comes to Merci Hills, everyone goes to see if the dragon could be Nina's lost mother and to support nervous Nina. As the dragon descends they lock eyes and silently realize the bond of parent and child. You can watch the circus day anime short here.
It is later revealed that Nina's mother sent the egg to Merci Hills due to circumstances outside her control.
