Peter Von Kat (ピーター・ボン・キャット) is a Sanrio character who was the mascot of Sanrio Phantasien, a now-defunct Sanrio theme park which operated between 1988-1995 as a predecessor to Sanrio Puroland. He's said to be the friendly guardian of fancy, enchantment, and fun in a medieval land called "The Land of Once Upon a Time", where the street unfolds like pages in a storybook, and magical things await you wherever you look.
A anthropomorphic boy cat, Peter's design was likely inspired by Puss in Boots. He has black and cream fur with yellow inner ears. His trademarks appear to be his blue cavalier hat and rapier sword. He is often seen with a short gray anthropomorphic mouse character of unknown name.
In the center of Sanrio Phantasien's Germany-inspired square was a clock tower, where an animatronic Peter Von Kat would entertain guests. A cartoon version of his design appeared on various goods which were likely exclusively sold at Phantasien.
