Pip ‘N Paula (ピップンポーラ pippunporra) are a pair of twin piglet characters created by Japanese company Sanrio in the mid eighties, alongside other pig characters Zashikibuta and Boo Gey Woo. Pip is a male pig with a small baseball hat worn on his left side, while Paula is a female pig who wears a bow on her right side. Pip is a quiet guy who loves to read, while Paula is a tomboy and a bit of a scatterbrain. Her intensely curious nature and tendency to make mistakes causes her brother to worry about her, disrupting his reading.[1]
