Puppie Pals are group of characters who debuted in the early 1980s, possibly 1983. They were created by Sanrio in collaboration with Nippon Life Insurance Co. (日本生命), likely serving as promotional mascots for the company for a short period of time. The characters were later dropped by the company, replaced by popular animated characters.
Puppie Pals are a family of anthropomorphic white dogs with black dot eyes and yellow noses.
