Ranran Puranrou (らんらんぷぅらんろう) are a trio of Sanrio enthusiasts: Ran, Pu, and Rou. It is said they all met and got along, so they now all live together. The three pigs had a YouTube channel linked here (through the Wayback Machine here) which debuted on May 1st, 2021, and was updated twice a month. It was deleted less than a year after release for an unknown reason, along with their page on the Sanrio website. They had uploaded at least 12 videos, ranging from 20-60 second long animated shorts to 2-7 minute longer form videos discussing other Sanrio characters. All of these videos are now lost.
Ran[]
Ran is a yellow pig who loves Pompompurin. She can be shy, quiet, and serious at first, but will speak quickly when she is talking about one of her interests. She's obsessed with taking photos of live characters with a single-lens reflex camera. She is good a mental arithmetic, which she uses to calculate the cost of goods. She is described as an otaku.
Puu[]
Puu is a chubby pink pig who loves Hello Kitty. She's tomboyish and fearless. She's fashion-conscious and uses social media sites to gather information. She is a romantic, as she loves fortune telling and love stories, and she falls in love very easily.
Rou[]
Rou is a purple pig who is a beauty guru and loves Cinnamoroll. She has a history of working as a model, and does yoga every morning to keep her shape. She is reliable and has a strong sense of responsibility, and sometimes she lovingly makes bitter comments.
