Robert is a character who hails from the Hello Kitty universe. He appears in the 1993 episode "The Wonderful Sisters" in Hello Kitty and Friends. During the episode, Robert moved into town with his family, and Mimmy tries to befriend him despite her shyness. He also befriends Hello Kitty as well.

Robert is portrayed as a bookish character, much like Mimmy pictured how her boyfriend would be. Robert is also very polite like Mimmy. However, he isn't immune to making mistakes himself. Robert notes that Mimmy was shy when she met him, but Kitty was not shy despite bungling the pie recipe.
Appearance[]
Robert is a bobtail gijinka, just like Hello Kitty and her family. He wears a blue shirt and dark turquoise trousers. His hair has a tuft near the forehead. His design gives him a resemblance to Daniel Starr, except Daniel himself has a different hairstyle.

- His voice sounds very similar to Vince Lasalle from Disney‘s Recess.
- In the Japanese version, Robert's name is known as Fred.
- Although Robert's relationship is primarily with Mimmy, he is the precursor of Dear Daniel, who is the official boyfriend of Hello Kitty. He also made his appearance six years before Daniel's debut in 1999.

- The male cat character who appears in Hello Kitty's imagination in the beginning of the episode strongly resembles Robert as well as Dear Daniel.
