Sanrio Anime Festival (Japanese: サンリオアニメフェスティバル) is a series of OVAs produced by Sanrio, they were released in 4 series of OVAs from 1989 to 1996.

Similar to the television series Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater and Hello Kitty & Friends, these films features Hello Kitty, My Melody, the Little Twin Stars, and more based around classic fairy tales, plays, and stories, although some films may be completely original specifically in fourth series.

Another anime TV series succeeding Sanrio Anime Festival is released in 2001 as Hello Kitty's Animation Theater.

My Melody no Akazukin My Melody Little Red Riding Hood This film marks Rei Sakuma's first time voicing My Melody, and she would later go on to become the main Japanese voice of the character, esspecially in Onegai My Melody, Kuromi's Pretty Journey, and Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adventures. Interestingly, My Melody's singing from the film can be distinctly heard in episode 4 of Onegai My Melody during one of the sequences of the 128th Kuromi Note.

  • The first three series' films start off with a scene of Tuxedosam and Chip introducing to the starring character of the film. This is no longer present in Series 4 alongside the Opening Scene.
