Sanrio English Master (サンリオイングリッシュマスター) is a series of educational English material created by Sanrio in 2023, with guidance from former Tamagawa University professor Kumiko Sato and University of Tokyo professor Kazuo Kai. A subscription box includes picture books, a collection of DVDs, access to the exclusive app, and the subscriber's toy of choice: a stuffed toy, a talking stuffed toy, toy blocks, a portable DVD player, and a picture book projector. The material is catered to children ages 0-8, but can be used by anyone of any age.
In addition to familiar Sanrio characters being featured in the content, two original characters named Eddy and Pita were introduced.
The first box was released on March 20, 2023. An English conversation attraction is also set to open at Sanrio Puroland in 2023.
