Sayuri (さゆり) is a female octopus character created by Hisato Inoue and belonging to the Hangyodon Universe. She's a very happy, optimistic, and at times curious girl born on May 9th in Japan with a B blood type.
Similar to her best friend Hangyodon, Sayuri enjoys collecting fans. She also loves dumplings and sour foods made with lots of vinegar. Sayuri is able to do acrobatic moves thanks to her flexibility!

- Sayuri eventually got her own comic series which was printed in the Strawberry News.
- She placed 7th place in the 2023 Sub Character Contest.[1]
