The Academic Friends are a human character duo from Sanrio that includes Sakurako and Soichiro. Similar to The Friendly Club, The Academic Friends is set in and based on the Taisho Era[1].
Soichiro is a boy with big dreams from the countryside who moves to Tokyo with hopes to attend Teikyo University. While he isn't the brightest, Soichiro busies himself with studying as he finds himself in love with Sakurako.
