The Dust Monster(ほこりオバケがでてきたぞ) is an episode of the television series Hello Kitty's Paradise. Mama encourages Kitty and Mimmy to do their spring cleaning by giving them a book on the dust monster.

Plot[]
The sun is shining because it's springtime. Kitty and Mimmy are sitting down outside. Kitty is sunbathing and enjoys the fresh air for lots of hours, and Mimmy just always loves the springtime. Kitty wants to sunbathe, but Mimmy insists that they read the book that Mama gave them. Trying to inspire the girls to do their spring cleaning, Mama gave them a book about the dust monster, a creature who comes out at night from dirty corners and makes the little girls sneeze.
Mimmy is scared to do spring cleaning right away – opening all the windows in the house and scrub the dust out of the corners – so the dust monster will not come. Kitty tells her there is no such thing as a dust monster and the only way to prove it is to see what happens if they do not clean today.
A month and a half later that night, the girls get a visit from the dust monster. After the monster scares Mimmy, Kitty yells at him. The dust monster explains that he only wanted to motivate them to clean the dust out of their room. The dust monster defends his bad reputation by telling Kitty that dirt is not a bad thing – without it there would not be flowers. Kitty agrees with him and wakes herself up in the next day, eager to do spring cleaning right away.
