Tomokuni Tsuji is the current CEO of Sanrio Co., Ltd and the grandson of the company's founder and original CEO, Shintaro Tsuji.
Shintaro Tsuji would formally step down as CEO of Sanrio on July 1st, 2020[1], with Tomokuni succeeding as the company's new CEO, this would've been Shintaro's son, Kunihiko Tsuji, as Japanese tradition has CEO founders strive to pass their role onto their family members, however Kunihiko would pass away on November 19, 2013 so the role was given to Tomokuni.

- When Tsuji was given the role of CEO, he was 31 at the time, making him the youngest CEO of a listed Japanese company.[2]
