Vanilla Bean (バニラビーン, Banirabīn) is a boy bear character from the Japanese company Sanrio. His real name is "Thaddeus Zacharias Archibald Brownmuzzle the Third", and Vanilla Bean is his nickname. His trademark is glasses and a baggy hunting cap. He is training to make cookies in the suburbs of New York. He doesn't like getting up early, but he doesn't miss jogging in Central Park every morning.

- Vanilla Bean appeared at Sanrio Puroland as an animatronic, located by a mailbox outside of the Hello Kitty's Paper & Print Works show. He would sing a song about wanting a penpal to write letters to. While footage of the show has yet to surface, an audio recording of it has been uploaded to Youtube. It was retired sometime around 1998.
